About the illustration: While working at a tech repair store, an African man came to the counter to ask questions about his iPhone not charging. I know good and well that usually when someone's iPhone won't charge, it's because their charging port is blocked with dust and dirt. A quick swipe of the alcohol pad and toothpick got the grime right out. After, the man looked at me and said I had eyes like a lion – confident. He then proceeded to tell me about his time growing up in Africa, and that he had to hunt a lion as apart of his upbringing as a teenager into manhood. He went on to explain that when hunting lions, you cannot look into their eyes because they will play tricks on you, ultimately turning the tables and making you their prey. This story sparked the idea of a lion with a third eye. The deadliest of kinds.
